The Role

Crown Flooring is seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Fitter to join our team. You will be responsible for being the main point of contact for our clients, managing client relationships, and coordinating with our contract delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floor fitting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Liaise with clients to understand their floor fitting requirements and provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Coordinate with the contracts team to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Schedule and manage the installation of flooring projects, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, take accurate measurements, and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and ensure availability for each project.
- Oversee the ordering and delivery of materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays, and provide regular updates to clients.
- Conduct quality inspections upon project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including measurements, materials used, and client communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in floor fitting techniques.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floor Fitter, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Proficiency in using floor fitting tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of different flooring materials, techniques, and installation methods.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in relation to floor fitting.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to client sites as required.

Essential

-The post holder must be able to work efficiently & effectively on their own with minimum -supervision. The ability to plan the work and adapt to the changing demands of the Client and projects are important in this role.

-Previous flooring experience, current CSCS card, Flooring NVQ, Full clean driving licence. DBS Clearance
