Crown flooring was formed by Wayne Edwards & Tony Thompson, initially focusing on delivering projects for the public sector in the Northwest of England.
The vision being to develop a unique business model, where working relationships were very much with the ‘end user’, as opposed to adopting the traditional ‘sub-contracting’ role associated with Flooring contractors. A business that would employ and train a workforce rather than outsource, a business that could then control and develop its capacity and ‘genuine’ in house customer service regardless of the size, scope, or complexity of the job.

Crown Flooring now operate out of 4 regional hubs covering the UK, have added Crown Facilities, a ‘multi-trade’ operation, and Crown Finishes, Resins, and specialist Installations.
A truly Unique National Business Model, employing, training, investing, and sustaining on a scale no other flooring organisation comes close to.
The Directors are extremely proud of what has been achieved since 1997 but are very much focused on the future.
