We now have an opportunity for Lead Contract Floor Layer based in the Leeds area, to manage an ongoing project.

Job title: Contract Floor Layer

Salary range: Directly Employed

Hours: Full Time Role

Main duties / key responsibilities:

- Main point of contact on site for a Key client

- Liaising with the Clients Estates & Crown Flooring Contracts Delivery team

- Installation of Resilient (including coving) and Textile Floor coverings.

- Ensuring Quality and Compliance on site

Working relationships:

Contracts department, Crown administrative staff, Client representatives

Additional information:

Van, Uniform and PPE will be provided

Person requirements

Excellent communicator

Able to use Email, Microsoft Excel and Word

Previous work experience required:

Essential: Previous flooring experience, current CSCS card, Flooring NVQ, Full clean driving licence. DBS Clearance

Training available; SSSTS Certification

Knowledge and experience:

Essential: Ability to work on their own with minimum supervision. Ability to plan own work load. Able to discuss issues with Contracts Department. Flexibility and able to deal with changing demands. Previous use of flooring equipment and tools

Personal skills/behaviours/qualities:

Essential: The post holder must be able to work efficiently & effectively on their own with minimum supervision. The ability to plan the work and adapt to the changing demands of the Client and projects are important in this role.
